In short: A very well organised picturesque race with PB potential
In full: Although it was a wet windy cold march morning the atmosphere was great with fantastic organisation, helpful marshals, quick and easy collection of race numbers/chip and a cosy club house to wait in before and after the race, the course was fantastic with very picturesque views and was well marshalled with definate PB potential. My only criticism was there was no medal for finishers only a plastic water bottle for a 20mile race, which was disappointing as this was my first 20miler and would have been nice to have something better to remember it by>

In short: A 200mile round trip rip off
In full: OMG, where do i start?!?!?! after travelling 100miles with a friend and his wife and children all we wanted was to park up and have a cuppa, not much to ask for you would think, nope after paying £40 for our places we had to pay a further £2 to park but still we anticipated a nice cuppa once parked!! nope no food or drink wagon. then it went from bad to worse with no were to change not enough parking, the start was a joke,(with some woman shouting GO) first time i crossed the road i nearly got ran over as a marshal waved a car through in front of me, crossed un marshaled roads, didnt get a drink first lap, couldnt find the finish line, no ST John,s, all to get this SPECIALLY MINTED medal,(i have bought better of the internet for £2), with no time date or place on it, the whole race was a joke £20 was a joke, will not be having anything to do with ULTRAMARATHON again, who's motto is "put the fun into fun running" put people of more like! Still at least it was only 100 miles home without a cuppa!!!
