In short: decent race, worth running
In full: by far the worst toilets I've ever seen at a race start, truly disgusting. hopefully next year's venue will be better

that aside it's a decent race, a few hills but not too many and great support on eccleshall road

In short: great race, great atmosphere
In full: negative- as a few others have stated the start line needs sorting out, just a couple of cones to mark it would do the job rather than us having to guess where it is

positives- everything else. a fantastic race on a dead flat course, I'm sure I've run hillier races on a track, perfect for beginners but also great pb potential. the marshalls were fantastic, 2 water stations on a 2 mile loop meant no one was ever going to go thirsty. jelly babies, flapjacks and energy drinks beforehand and more of the same after along with medals certificates and a fantastic goody bag (I'm loving the bagel, butter, jam, knife and napkin)

this is one I'll definitely be back for

In short: great race
In full: really well organised, great marshalls, a lovely area to run in but OMG that hill at the end. hope to be back next year but will make sure to save something for the climb in the final km this time. I'd recommend this race to anyone, a great morning

In short: horrendous weather but great fun
In full: sort out the baggage reclaim, have foil blankets at the end and move it to a sunnier country and this has the makings of a really good race. marshalls and spectators were magnificent in the horrific conditions

In short: hard, so hard
In full: a fantastic race, ridiculously hard and with a hill at 11 miles that most walked up but great fun and I can't wait to do it again next year

only criticism, as others have mentioned, it really could do with a slightly earlier water station. only having them at 9 and 12 miles is a bit late

In short: all round excellent race
In full: fantastic organisation, start/finish on the track is great, marshalls were excellent especially on the tricky crossings

only negative was the baggage drop queues but as this was the first year with this facility and they've already announced how they're going to solve it next year it's turned into a positive
