In short: Superb organisation, friendly marshals and nice little touches
In full: This is my 5th time at TW and every year it improves. There is so much attention to detail and I couldn't believe just how many marshals there were everywhere. Great medal, decent tshirt where you got to pick your size. Tough course but that's the point! Well done to all involved.

In short: Friendly, low key, great course.
In full: Park near the start, race began on time, mile markers, drinks stations, jelly babies, nice route, friendly atmosphere.....
What's not to like. A good spring marathon build up event. Oh, by the way, £1.50 for a cup of tea and a slice of very tasty coffee & walnut cake was a bargain.
thanks to the organisers.

In short: The race that delivers everything and numerous small touches!
In full: Superbly marshalled all the way round, efficient start, great small touches (marshals keeping the toilet queue moving and checking the stocks of loo paper), being able to try on tshirts for size, Double Olympic medallist Dame Kelly Holmes giving out medals on the line, good bag drop system, text message received with finish time within 2 hours of finishing, good tshirt, friendly atmosphere and so much more.
Not an easy course but one to be recommended. Do this race to remind yourself just how much hard work by the organising team can make your day better!

In short: Terrible weather, good event although a few, small items to look at
In full: I first did this event back in the early 90's and came back this year. Very enjoyable. Marshals all round the course, road closures which is no mean feat and a nice medal to finish. Couple of small items to be considered - baggage tent could be good to have an in and out to keep more of a flow going plus also different line if the athlete alreadyy had the label. Finish was a bit chaotic, no funneling to ensure runners got medal and water. BUT helpful friendly marshals and good atmosphere made it a good event. thanks

In short: Not a scenic course, but tough and challenging. Well organised, good friendly atmosphere and some nice little touches
In full: Having done this in 1993 and 1994 I was pleased to see that my memories were correct. A grassy first 1/2 mile preceeds a one mile climb with 250ft of elevation. Then a long period of general downhill and the final 5 or so miles along the flat. The course is not picturesque, at times the path is too narrow but there is an underlying friendliness and calm pleasure with this race. Well marshalled throughout and plenty of water stops ensured on a humid day it was (just about) bearable.

The finish was on grass and loads of spectators. The finishers medal was (for a race with less than 1,000 finishers) one of the best I have had in years - sponsor name, date of race, club name and map of the course on it. The club had obviously taken the time to think about it. Plus a tshirt and other goodies meant it was value for money. Will I be back - yes at some point.

In short: Excellently organised simple race
In full: Regents Park is one of those parts of London that can make you feel alive and well. The 3 lap course is now different to previous years but still remains as fast as before. The marshalling is efficient and friendly, the atmosphere is both competitive and relaxed. The race starts at 9.30 so you can be home for lunchtime.
For those who only like the Nike 10km type large event feel, this isn't for you.

In short: A definate to do local race.
In full: And yet again Dulwich Runners deliver the goods. It did what it said on the can!

On time start, km markers, plenty of marshals, spectator friendly, efficient finish area, water on course, change tents and baggage storage.

This is the type of race that converts people to running and reaffirms us long in the tooth runners.

The fact it was a PB today for me is by the by!

In short: A well organised, lunchtime race!
In full: My first ever LFOTM5k and it lived up to the billing. Only £3 entry fee, started on time, fast course, results on website within 2 hours of finishing and smiling marshals in the rain.

In short: A race for runners by runners. Welcoming local feel to a midsummer's evening race. Marshals at every point that are needed, km markers, medal at the end and race clocks as well.
In full: Dulwich Runners always put on a good race, as runners they know what people want; ie they give:

. Well marshalled
. Race clocks on course and finish
. accurately measured course and km markers
. efficient finish line recording
. friendly and welcoming
. incredible speeds at the front and all smiles at the back
. baggage tent

I would guess there were circa 300 runners taking part and this bodes well for their 10k in October.

A pleasure to take part in, one to be recommended. There aren't many 5k races other than race for life so a welcome change.
