In short: Mass race with PB potential if you're near the front
In full: Great crowd support and atmosphere on yet another drizzly day in Southsea. Very well organised & nice goody bag. Agree with comments that smaller powerade bottles would mean less wastage.

In short: I seem to always be in the last 10, but love this race :)
In full: Clubby but friendly, along my usual run route - so local and a nice change for a Sunday run for me. Well organised and nice medal. Would be better if timing mat at start as well, but minor gripe. I'll be back next year :)

In short: Nice t-shirts, but p**s-ups and brewerys spring to mind, won't go again
In full: Had to leave bags out in the open in the rain, are gazebos or marquees expensive? Way too many runners for a 10K, no chance of a PB due to the crowds. Crowded walk back to baggage area where you collect goody bag & medal, but then you had to double-back & head back against the flow to collect a t-shirt (which was hopelessly undermanned & crushing crowds). The only redeeming features are that at least it is now chip-timed, London is always great and the t-shirts were very nice. Having said that, it's very expensive & really not worth it. The BUPA London 10K is much better organised and cheaper.

In short: Wasn't expecting hills, but fantastic race & perfectly organised
In full: Plenty of water, fuel and crowd support. Not sure about the water pouches though, made me cough a few times. Great atmosphere, who needs London!

In short: Well organised, nice medal, a few steep bits!
In full: bottled water would have been preferable, don't like stopping for cups, puts me off my stride

In short: OK but nothing special
In full: Bar the measuring mishap, an OK race with nice views. Goody bag was non-existent but marshalls & water all fine. Not sure it's worth the money, but fairly well organised.

In short: Tough, scenic, great atmosphere, I'll be back!
In full: Great organisation, tough hills, fab scenery and a nice mug at the end. Only gripe was a 15min walk from finish back to the car, but at least was downhill. Overall great race, will def be back.

In short: Well organised, but very slippery & muddy, narrow in places.
In full: The start had a couple of bottlenecks but soon spread out, but the towpath is narrow & only single file in places. Due to recent weather a few stages were extremely swampy, muddy and slippery which made it a tad difficult. Well organised & nice finish & medal.

In short: Friendly, well-run and scenic course.
In full: Got stung by a bee at about 3k :o( but pretty route, well-run and nice medal/t-shirt at the end. The sweeties at the halfway point were a nice touch. Great encouragement from marshals, I will be back next year!
