In short: This was my third year - and I enjoyed it yet again
In full: I enjoy the certainty that this will be a great Saturday morning, but that there will be some new things to discover / notice. This year the airfield rallying and some remote control planes. Oh, and I knew I was fitter than last year when I didn't lose my balance on the stepping stones and kept my feet dry(ish!)

In short: This is a great race - there for the 3rd time this year
In full: Speedy results and great photos are a real plus for this very friendly race. The marshalls were encouraging and there was support en route. Hope to be back again next year.

In short: A fun, family day out
In full: I ran the 10k, my sons ran the fun run and a good time was had by all. Contrary to others - as I only appear to run hilly races, I did get a PB! Was a tough last 200m though.

In short: Just as good second time round
In full: Checked my review from last year - said I'd do it again - and I did (and in 'proper' trail shoes - although I don't think it made a huge difference!).
Beat my time, but it still felt tough - but great to finish.

In short: My first half marathon - so guaranteed a PB. I enjoyed the park sections.
In full: I enjoyed this (strangely enough) especially where there was support out on the route. It was well marshalled although I felt sorry for the later runners in the town centre as the drummers packed up and the shoppers didn't really keep the route clear. Have an open mind about next year!

In full: This race has a strange charm - it's a tough one but a challenge and I keep coming back.

In short: Lovely early Saturday morning run out
In full: Great to see a race that starts at a good time and on a Saturday - leaves the rest of the weekend to recover!
It was good weather and a good time was had by all. Hope to run again next year. Hopefully it wan't get too huge, some of the charm is the small field.
