In short: An excellent Half with fantastic support In full: An excellent, well organised half - everyone who was involved (from the marshalls, to those who looked after our bags, handed us our numbers, gave out the medals etc, etc) was very friendly and encouraging.
Although there were a few slight inclines these were more than compensated by the downhills.
Will definitely do this race again. Date of review: March 4, 2013
In short: unfortunately sent the wrong way by marshall - added extra 6 mins to time In full: In spite of the rain it was a good run until we got to a junction and weren't sure where to go. A group of us asked the marshall and he told us to do another loop (which added an extra 6 minutes onto my time! - hence why I put moderate for organisation). I knew something was wrong as all of a sudden I kept on passing people who were walking (and I wasn't in the elite group at all). This is a shame as otherwise in spite of the rain I enjoyed the run. Medal, t-shirt (although only large left) and a very nice goodie bag plus a great breakfast was all provided afterwards. If you are a beginner runner I'm sure it would convince you to do more runs. As a local will definitely come along again next year. Date of review: February 28, 2010
In short: A great race - very friendly, happy organisers In full: In spite of the 6 laps it goes so quickly and that is in main part due to the friendly supporters and organisers - the kettle drummers were great too. And it's flat also! Date of review: August 17, 2008
In short: Pretty Village, Friendly Support In full: Held the same day as the Feast & Fayre in a pretty village setting with friendly support, even the killer hill was enjoyable (in a strange kind of way) Date of review: June 29, 2008
In short: Enjoyable race, pretty scenery. In full: Enjoyable race. Would be nice if there could have been more security re bags though and only one ladies toilet. Other than that enjoyed the day. Date of review: June 22, 2008
