In short: Great run, lovely scenery, will be back.
In full: What an enjoyable run and the weather was a massive bonus. Don't often run in a vest in Mid November! Remembrance service beforehand made this run all the more special. Lovely route through scenic countryside with a few hills around 6.5 to 8 miles but still PB potential if you arrive in shape (I didn't!) Would definitely do it again - 2 gripes - 1 Minor - i.e. no medal, the other gripe sort out the car park field. This had a number of large holes (removed fence posts?, rabbits perhaps?) which were marked beforehand but not after the race. On the weary walk back to the car, I put my foot in one that was easily 50 cms deep and was lucky not to break my leg. Don't know why the markers were removed as the marshalling and organisation was otherwise flawless. Still a great event and I will be back next year - but watching where I'm going more closely.

In short: Well organised event on a pleasant course...
In full: Once again, very well organised and marshalled - Billericay Striders really have got this down to a tee. Very slick - course is pleasant and fair with a couple of climbs that keep it challenging. Only criticism was the memento of a towel at the end! What happened to last years excellent trophies/paperweights?

In short: An already good event that gets better every year....
In full: Good route up and down hills for the first 5k before a downhill/flat fast 5k to the finish. Pace this well and you can run a fast time. Have entered this event in each of its 3 years to date and it just keeps on getting better. First event was good, the changes to route last year were a further improvement and the organisation this year was very slick. Not sure I'd love the walk back to Race HQ on a day when we're less blessed by the weather but that's a minor gripe and is a result of the route change which helps the route and the marshalling. Well done Striders - another great event.

In short: Nice if challenging route, excellent organisation and marshalling - nice memnto as well.
In full: First time in this one, thoroughly enjoyed it. Challenging but fair course, not a PB circuit unless you have a blinder (- I didn't!)Great organisation, well marshalled and the "paperweight" type memento was a nice change. Would definitely do it again. Well done Billericay Striders...

In short: Flat so there is potential for a PB although too hot for me this time. Well organised.
In full: Its a mixed bag for me. Nice run to begin with and it is fast and flat but the route could surely be better. There are some potentially great routes in the area, I should know, I run there all the time. So on the fourth time along the seafront I was losing my mind.
