In short: Excellent support from the numerous marshals lovely runs downhill!
In full: Well organised, excellent marshalling. Walk to and from start no more than half a mile. Race HQ had cafe and showers. Lots of downhills but to earn those you have long drags uphill so it is a good training run, but don't look for a PB. For a change ALL drivers, of tractors, as well as cars, were considerate and courteous.

In short: Well organised but horrible water sachets. Boring and crowded sections.
In full: Well-organised but water sachets useless for refilling your own bottle and a pain to use. Very crowded sections at Ovingdean and Shoreham power Station, which was a real boring drag. Excellent uplifting support in central sections. good alternative as a Spring marathon.

In short: Well organised race with friendly marshals
In full: Perfect weather enhanced this well organised, friendly race. Route is somewhat boring, being out and back along the promenade, but there were many supporters especially around Hythe.

In short: Well organised with very friendly and encouraging marshals
In full: Not keen on the new route having to go round the promenade so many times, but a great race all the same. Given the cold and rainy weather the marshals deserve special thanks. Look forward to next year, but more toilets are needed.

In short: Tougher course than previously but a good challenge
In full: Well organised; friendly encouraging marshals, although I have never before been warned to watch out for steam engines; and a very generous goody bag, other, more expensive races, have nothing to match it. I had run the old course 10 times, this new one has relentless hills but is a more pleasant run and is definitely safer than the old route along the A404. samller field than usual which is a pity. I look forward to next year's run.

In short: Well organised with friendly encouraging marshals
In full: The route was OK and the Race brochure explained why the route had been changed - to avoid traffic congestion, which is necessary to keep a good rapport withthe local population. As usual too few toilets and the "goody bag" wasn't. But the marshals were also friendly and encouraging, there were plenty of signs to the parking.

In short: Superb organisation, wonderful marshals, lovely scenery can't wait until 2012!
In full: The finesse of the organisation was exemplified by the fact that every tree root, on the 18 mile course, was highlighted so you'd have a chance to jump over it. My first time on this wonderful race but I can't wait until next year. The marshals were all encouraging and friendly, which made for a great atmosphere. Well done to all concerned with the organisation of this great race.

In short: Well organised with encouraging marshals and spectators
In full: A reasonably flat route through the countryside. Marshals very encouraging and plentiful. Local support in villages too. Finish uphill was not welcome but the crowd lining the finish stretch was very encouraging to us slow 'uns,
