In short: Should be renamed the Bog and More Bog.
In full: Something completely different! Bits you can run, and bits you just pray not to fall down. Agree about the hills, not as steep as the profile suggests. We did have showers, just the whippets at the front of the field had nicked all the hot water. The marshals deserve medals. Fantastic event, well done to everyone.

In short: Its the participants who make this race so special. Only those with a genuine love of the mountains take part.
In full: Shouldnt really rate my own event, but really I'm rating the 90 participants- brilliant! Thanks for supporting the race, thanks for pitting yourselves against our mountains, and thanks for supporting each other and creating such a lovely atmosphere.Come Again!

In short: It's the course that makes this event - simply stunning, and very runnable.
In full: The increased fee, no-entry-on-day (although they did actually accept entries on the day) and the introduction of time limits have spoilt the atmosphere of this race. Although, the momento did live up to reputation for naff-ness - it's shaped like one of those mats they have on the bar! Still - that said, the weather held up, and the course was great.

In short: oh dear - well intentioned, but a little bit of a fiasco..
In full: The only saving grace for this race was the friendly atmosphere. I appreciate that nobody can factor in Marshals being beaten up - but the results were mixed up too and the team prize initially went to the wrong team. Route markers in red? - they looked like traffic markers. Yellow would be a better choice. The sad fact is, if you are going to charge £12 to enter, you have to provide the service to go with it. That said, I am sure that the organisers will take all this on board and the event will be improved for next year.

In short: Lovely atmosphere - good running for a trail race.
In full: Haven't done this before, didn't expect it to be so big. Nice touch to put the loos right on the start line! Lots of suppport. A piece of fruit, a cereal bar or even chocolate at the finish, rather than just one boiled sweet wouldn't have gone amiss. Great run though, and lovely atmosphere.

In short: Great for kicking off your Christmas
In full: Even though it was a freezing cold day the atmosphere generated at this event was brilliant. Great music, warm-up routine and performance from some very cold cheer-leaders. Mince pies and sherry half way around was a nice touch.

In short: Thanks Guys, great morning run. T Shirt was an added bonus.
In full: Well organised, friendly, the marshalls were fun. Facilities are good and the T. Shirts in a selection of sizes for finishers were a welcome surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to bring beginners down for this race to introduce them to 10k running.

In short: Total rip off. Complete fat profit making exercise for Military Fitness.
In full: Course nothing more than a basic cross-country run - zig-zagging across fields to make it longer. Friendly enough people, but the price was extortionate. Compare this race with something like Sodbury Slog - and you realise this is just about Military Fitness on a massive money-making marketing exercise. No prizes? c'mon guys, at least for the first few people home!
