In short: Extremely enjoyable, excellent organisation. In full: This was a truly excellent introduction to marathon running and to orienteering (I have not done either before) with 27.4 miles of hills, mud, woodland and generally stunningly beautiful scenery. The organisation was faultless, the marshals friendly and the home made cakes and sandwiches at the end a nice and very welcome surprise. The Friendly atmosphere more than compensated for getting lost a couple of times in the woodland sections. Only problem is that I will have to do a road marathon now just to see how fast I can go in an ‘ordinary’ race. Well done and thank you to Dunstable Road Runners.
