In full: I have completed the Bupa 10km Manchester run today and must say, the crowds were not very inspiring even though there were lots of spectators. Maybe it was due to the occasional drizzle. The course is flat and it takes you past Old Trafford. However, due to the vast number of entrants, if you're not at the edge of the pack, you can't see much.
There were about 5 corners where the road was narrowed which meant that ALOT of people had to slow right down to get through.

In short: VERY busy but lots of spectators In full: The race is very busy and it is near impossible to get a pb and theres so many runners that they dont tend to space out throughout the course. There are loads of great spectators throughout the whole course which give runners ice pops, oranges, jelly babies, etc. Date of review: September 20, 2010

In full: I didn't enjoy this run at all. There were no signs when you got off the tram to tell you where to go. Ok, the waves were well organized. It was tight for the first km and you had to run at the pace of others around you. The atmosphere (if you'd go as far as to call it that) was dull. Only a few cheering points that slightly lifted your spirit. It wasnt very scenic. The last 2km is virtually all uphill and the hills are VERY steep! difficult to run from the 200m mark to the finish line. Date of review: September 6, 2009
