In short: A grand day out Gromit
In full: The delayed start was irritating. There's plenty of warning in the literature sent out by RFA about parking problems and the need to arrive early so no excuse really. I know it was only 10 minutes or so but it started to get a bit hot in the starting pens.
Anyway that's the moan out of the way. Superb weather. A few stalls to mooch around and kill a bit of time before the race. There seemed to be loads more support all the way around this year, both from the public and the marshals. Thanks to all who organised it and to the brilliant marshals.

In short: A grand day out!
In full: Better organised start than last year (I was in the green wave so can't comment in the red). Started promptly. Minor changes to course were an improvement. Good support all the way round, even along the duller 4-8k stretch. Excellent crowd in the city centre. Marshalls were excellent - gave lots of encouragement and support. Nice T-shirt.

In short: A grand day out!
In full: Ideal conditions and well organised.
New-ish to running and just wondering what the etiquette is on spitting - it gets on my nerves when someone in front spits with seemingly no consideration for those close behind. Hate to appear all Mary Whitehouse-ish and if it's considered ok then soz to bring it up (so to speak!).

In short: Loved it
In full: The awful weather, muddy grassland, deep puddles, undulating course and amateurish start took me right back to school cross-country runs. Very invigorating. Can't have been any fun for the organisers to set up the course in the pouring rain early this morning so well done to them.
