In short: Brings out the best of London In full: A truly great race - well organised, the marshals did a fantastic job and kept the motivation going, great cheers from the crowds as you entered the park which made the event. Too long a queue for the loos at the beginning and slightly congested at times. Roll on next year! Date of review: October 10, 2011

In short: One of the best organised and friendliest events I have been too. In full: Great day today - my first trail run and I want to enter another!! Well organised and very friendly, fab idea to have the free massages pre & post race who were chatty with everyone. Good atmosphere and despite the long slow hill up this is a great race for new runners. Well done to the organisers....great job! Date of review: May 22, 2011

In short: No water at the end on such a humid day was upsetting! In full: Race seemed friendly to start, as with other comments some of the marshalls clearly did not want to be there or interact with the runners, good effort from the guy with the 2k/5k/8k signs, not so good with the young lady preoccupied with her iPhone! Good encouragement from the crowd. Felt very upset that no water at the end, very humid - Why hand it out before lap 1 - and why not in cups instead of bottles discarded virtually full - not impressed. Date of review: May 9, 2011

In short: Not impressed with Music, Pens, Price and lack of freebies In full: This was my first half marathon, had high expectations but they were soon dashed! I understand about the delay but ltd information. Was in Pen 4 and it took 35 minutes to get to the start, pretty seized up by then. Course ok and marked out clearly, thanks to the locals for giving their support it really helped. Very disappointed about the music was expecting pumping music for most of the route. As previously said not a crumb of a cereal bar to be had, despite finishing in just over 2hrs - can't believe some would take whole boxes - how rude! Organisers can learn a lot from the British 10k organisers, double as many participants which flowed very well. Not sure about next year - 3 parks maybe!! Date of review: September 26, 2010
