In short: Got to agee
In full: 13.48 on my watch which, I was bleeping ok give or take 10 yards to start with but I put that down to where the lamp post are. Then after we started going back down the hill it started to get well out of sinc. I'm glad it's not my watch but I would have had a better PB than I got if it was measured correctly. Plus for the price the goody bag was shit!! They really let thenselves down today.

In short: Good morning out
In full: I got there late and parked about 1.5 miles from the start. Bit of a rush for toilets and bag drop. Walked along to where I wanted to start the race and jumped over the fence. Agree the start was a bit slow but things soon spead out. Knocked 8 minutes off last year and 4 minutes off by PB. 195 mile round trip and will back down for the Gosport Half.

In short: Great
In full: Great race we were lucky with the weather only headwind was at about 11 1/2 miles, The cource was short but in this sort of race it does not matter!!!I stoped off here on my way to Scotland just to run this and will try to get my running club up next year. If could say one thing about this race it's try it!!! I'm off for a pint now with my new found northern chums.

In short: Boring
In full: If they had to shorten it because of water why did they not start it further back on the track to make up the distance.

The times are a joke as my one of my mates is not even on there and the other's time is 10 minutes to slow!!

This race should be sorted out by Bromley and Blackheath as it's the manor!!

Apart from that I got a good time.

In short: If you want to do it again do what we did.
In full: We dropped our bags a the bag drop at about 8.40 walked back out to horse guards parade. 200 yards up the road on the left hand side there is a public toilet in the park with nobody in it!! We walked up to Buckingham Palace had a warm up run through the park and up to the start just as they were bringing through the first group up. As they brought the second lot up we ducked under a piece of tape that was bridging the gap between the fence and joined them!! Plenty of water infact to much!! few dodgy over sized people at the beginning and that was it.
