In short: FAB
In full: Another great event. Don't know what is more surprising each year, the contents of the goody bag or how insanely cheerful the marshals are in rubbish weather.

In short: Good course, sort aggage next year or your rubbish.
In full: Good route, I was nearer front so did not see any bottle necks, cross country section may not have been a problem in the dry as it was a lane. I enjoyed it but I like off road running. Crowds and marshals great considering the weather. Drinks stations seemed to be good to may, plenty of them and those bags things worked for water.
Not sure about the expo idea in general, this was my first marathon so not experienced this sort of thing before but it just seemed to be a way of increasing commercial opportunity but this is not a dig at this event as I guess the vlm is this same.
BAD STUFF
Baggage, enough said. I would consider doing this race again but consider the baggage storage area to be on probation, improve this or give up go home home.

In short: Great
In full: Although this race is run by my club it was the race that really got me into running when I did it out of interest and loved it. This year despite rain and other problems the organizers and marshals were great. The goody bag again defied logic and in fact sanity. It may not be the fastest race but is the best.

In short: Great friendly race with things to do for family
In full: Excellent midweek race based at a pub with walks and playground for kids so they enjoyed it as well. Run through countryside but you are more interested in the hills yes it is hilly so I have not given in much for pb. Good pub for food to finish it off.

In short: Good
In full: Enjoyed it, would describe as sporting rather than flat. Would have been risky due to roads except the marshaling was excellent, supported by local Police who also did a great job.
