In short: Extremely friendly, well-organised and enjoyable! In full: Lovely countryside and a great atmosphere. Much hillier than I was expecting, but definitely worth it (the swimming pool at the end is a stroke of genius by the way, thankyou so much to the school who made it available!), and we had a lovely picnic in the grounds afterwards. The course is definitely challenging, with much steeper ups and downs than I'd pictured from the 'undulating' description, so wasn't PB material for me (five minutes off my PB in fact, though it was very hot too ;-) But it seemed to suit others very well, and it was certainly picturesque. Many thanks to all the organisers and volunteers, who did a fantastic job. Overall, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this one - a great day out! Date of review: September 5, 2009
