In short: great race, very friendly ,beautiful location
In full: really friendly entry level ultra, the weather made it even more picture postcard.slightly more undulating than advertised but this made it more interesting and for a plodder like me gave me the excuse to slow down and not go all out and risk not finishing.also the 5 hour limit was a bit tight for me but they were flexible so allowed me to finish.in all a great event and very friendly.

In short: very friendly,stunningly beautiful,challenging yet doable.FANTASTIC
In full: wonderful marathon, fresh air, stunning scenery made even better by the dramatic clouds round the mountains.water and marsbars plentiful and served by very friendly smiley people the highlight each year for me is the wonderful man with his sweets at the start of the hill at 21 miles which then lasts just long enough to get to the top where there is the friendly warm welcome of the people with a cup of hot sweet tea, having not had a great run this year and with the weather not been as pleasant as it could have been i didnt expect anybody to still be about by the time i plodded in but the support ,as it was throughout the race , was fantastic, and what could have been a soul destroying day was made fantastic by the kindness and support of the people.
