In full: Great event, against the odds, i actually got a pb with 3-57-48 . Very friendly atmosphere, and support along the way, in all, a great day!

In short: great race!
In full: this was my second time of running this race, missed last year. I enjoyed this one even more, probably because the rain stayed away! Lovely scenic, mildly challenging course. Friendly oficials, good parking facilities ( though it was a good job i brought spare running shoes and socks, as mine got soaked in the long grass, walking oveq to register) great buzz round the starting area, and a well organized start. All in all, a great effort by all involved, i will be back!

In short: Hard work
In full: For a 54 year old, this was hard. Fair bit of uphill, repeated 5 times!Wet day, so slippery and muddy.All in all i enjoyed the race, but i thought the facilities were a bit poor. The website said changing facilities. The only place to change was a toilet, which was busy pre race, so i had to change on wet grass.
The free coffee and cake was a nice touch. I found the race finish a bit confusing too, being divided as we ran to the line.All in all, o.k. but not sure i would do it again

In short: Brilliant
In full: I cant praise this event highly enough. The race was tough, but rewarding with great scenery, including the castle. What really made it for me was the great atmosphere. It was like a big outdoor party, with the whole village buzzing before the race, and clapping and cheering at the end.Literally hundreds of people lined the streets, to cheer the runners home.And all for a tenner! I travelled down from Croydon for this, and it was worth every mile, and every penny. See you next year

In full: This was a very enjoyable race, very friendly and helpful marshalls. If i had to make one small gripe, we could have done with some waste bins. By the way, my Garmin also said 12.95 , but i cant see any problem with that
