In full: Second year in a row in 2010. Had a great time and would definately like to do it again, but not necessarily every year!

In short: So glad I took part and hope to return again
In full: I'm not local so planning for the Run was crucial. Decided to make a holiday by renting a cottage on the Isle of Wight and just come to Portsmouth for the Run on Sunday morning. This worked well for me as the hovercraft took 10 minutes and the start was less than 10 minutes walk.

I would definately like to do this run again but it worked out very costly for me simply because I'm not local. If I lived in Hampshire, I'd do it every year without question.

In short: I did the 5k option and it was tough but enjoyable!
In full: I had a tough journey to the run as I had to rely on public transport. I also had a fall on the way and damaged my hand and knee before the run started but I managed to get round this tough course simply because I thought about what Demelza does. I feel privilaged to have taken part and sincerely hope this event raises lots of money for Demelza. I hope I never need the service of such a charity but thank god we have charities like Demelza as nobody knows what may happen in the future!

The atmosphere today was very special because Demelza will attract a variety of people who would not normally run.

In short: Very enjoyable!
In full: Did the 5k this year and had a great time. Interesting medal. Personally, my favourite medal because it is different! Thank you as always to the marshalls and everyone responsible for organising it!

In short: Had a great time!
In full: This was my first 10k. Hope to do it next year. I still dream of running the London Marathon some day but being like an 'Eddy the Eagle' figure of distance running, 10k is better suited to my body, and it has a lot of the same scenery!

In full: It was disappointing not to get the medal on the day but it was an enjoyable experience, did not cost too much and the marshals were very good. I would definately look to do it again.
