In short: bottles please- cups are no use ......
In full: the scenery of the race i stunning.the organisation good. a couple of gripes though...i found the race a bit penny pinching to be truthful- i know this was mentioned in previous years but plastic cups for running is just no use.we dont want to have to stop through water stations but trying to run and drink with plastic cups cant be dont- i lost my drinks up my nose or choked on it. come on organisers help us runners out! also no goody bag - no t shirt - mmmmm- first half i have done for over a year where we got neither :-( .
i personally didnt like the ipod ban so i wont be doing the race again - that said i fully understand why it was put in place- there were lots of traffic on route and the ban was needed for safety. this race is worth doing for the scenery- glad i did it - but probably not again for me.
crowd support was amazing - thank you marshalls and people of stratford for your encouragment - thanks especially to the people who played music to us from their houses - it helped with the ipod ban

In short: wouldnt do it again if you piad me :-(
In full: after a group got lost last year through lack of sign posts and marshalls one would hope that lessons had been learnt - but sadely no - our party of 20 runners got lost and even some of the elite runners came running through the villiage some hours after everyone else had finished- many people got lost today .
there was inadequate water stations and tiny cups of water - not even bottles. the route was good only for slipping and breaking your ankles and no medals ! never again thanks :-(

In short: a few problems -but i do like this race
In full: needed more helpers on the water stations guys,we were cueing for water at all 4 !! and to be honest another water station itself. goody bag was poor- the first 1 i was given was empty, and ran out of medium sized t shirts .a technical t shirt would of been nice - but it was just a cheap cotton 1. having moaned about all that the route is 1 of my favourites and i do love this race because i love the route.

In short: fantastic marshalls and crowd support but penny pinching giving us a cup of sports drinks!!
In full: the marshalls and crowd support were amazing and thank you for that - you made this race special. the organisation was great. but for almost £50 by the time you'd paid to park the car it was unacceptable that we were offered a mouthful of a sports drink in a plastic cup- that was shocking - more water stations and proper bottles of drinks next year guys - for the price your charging.how can we drink and run out of a cup :-(.

In short: no goody bag - not even a banana
In full: maybe i have been spoiled doing to many bigger races but i have gotten used to goody bags and t shirts and this race had neither. i suppose at £20 it wasnt as expensive as some races so i shouldnt complain . this race was ok - would possibly do it again?
felt like there should have been at least 1 more water stop and as silly as it seems sports tops on the water is needed when your running- you loose most of your water if you dont have them . i suppose this race was cheap and cheerful enough

In full: 100% superb race - thank you to all involved. this race was faultless. the marshalls were amazing - the most encouraging i have ever met !
the guy that organised the race - Adrian went to so much trouble to get me a last minute place - thank you adrian.
it was just a really well run race . faultless.
you should do this race guys - it can teach a lot of the races i have been to a thing or too !

the weather was a bit blowy off the sea front - thats the only slight possible thing.
