In short: Beautiful morning in fantastic scenery -just enjoy it!
In full: I 'd wanted to do this for a while but it is usually earlier in August. This was perfect at 8.30 on a septemebr morning. I like to see the cani-x but can understand faster runners being blocked by them on the narrow paths - maybe a bigger gap needed.

In short: Really lovely route, well-organised and friendly.
In full: Ran this with a torn calf muscle because it was too lovely not to and being so flat made it possible to jog gently all the way round. A great race for a worthwhile charity.Time to do birdwatching too. Friendly and supportive marshalls.

In short: lovely run in the woods
In full: Thanks to the organisers of this run in alovely location. Good parking, friendly marshalls and organisers and beautiful route, Second half of the circuit was definitely easier than the first half-luckily as it was a challenge for me today.

In short: I love running here -perfect trails.Great organisationa and atmosphere.
In full: Great to see so many beginner runners enjoying a charity run in lovely surroundings. Considering the numbers involved organisation was very good and the goodybag added to an enjoyable experience. A water bottle makes a nice change from a medal- and a T-shirt too!

In short: very boring out and back flat road race on a wet day.
In full: change of route made this tedious. First road race Ive done for a while- pushy, shoving people on hard flat road in the freezing wind and rain. I hated it - but it was for charity!I'll stick to off-road, countryside trails for enjoyment in future.

In short: 8.2 is a nice change. Easy and well-organised canalside run.
In full: Personally I'd prefer more off-road. My trail shoes were perfect for the canal and woods but made my legs ache on the roads!I like it as its my home area, so a training run for me.

In short: a fun opportunity to run with other doggy runners!
In full: cani X is a great concept.I dont know why we had to have abriefing an hour before the race started, so lots of hanging around. People running with 1 or 2 dogs on harnesses having a great time was a bit different to the normal mass people runs! And quite fast competitors!

In short: I also loved this muddy, wet route - the weather improved it!
In full: As said already , a warning of 10 min walk to start would help it start on time. Chips not really necessary for a race like this are they?? I was glad I didn't bring a spectator, but thank the marshals very much for standing in the rain and handing mugs out at end.
