In short: I still ache ......... In full: A great event. Technical tee shirt a triumph. Organisation 100%. Last hill on second lap did for me. 1 year older than last year and finished 1 second slower. Must remember to train harder next time (NEXT TIME? I must be bonkers). Excellent preparation for London. In short: Hills? What hills? Don't know what all the fuss was about,. A great day's racing. In full: Well organised, perfect weather. If there was a tee shirt I didn't get one, nor did my fellow runner, but I'm not going to sulk about it. Maybe they were in the hall, which we didn't go into? The hills made it interesting, certainly not a problem and no reason to be put off from doing the race. Great company, thoroughly enjoyed running with the vice-chair of Yaxley Running Club who obvously wasn't working hard enough as she still had enough puff to converse! An excellent training run for London and thank you to everyone who was involved. Would I do it again? You bet!. Date of review: January 24, 2010

In short: Fantastic Marshalls and Helpers. You're the heroes for standing our in the wet and cold, In full: Excellent organisation, can't be faulted. Considering it was nearly December it is hardly suprpising that it there was some rain and cold temperatures, but to organise a rainbow and then some at the start was a masterstroke! Another PB for me but I think I've peaked now, I can't imagine getting any better. Once again, a huge thank you to all the helpers on the day, you did us proud. Date of review: November 30, 2009

In short: Good course, brilliant marshalls, leaked buckets in the heat. In full: My first half marathon - extremely well organised, the marshalls were plentiful, friendly and efficient. In future it would be good to have signs on the road warning of water/sponges ahead. Thanks to St Johns Ambulance volunteers for handing out the water, but I have to say that a quick training course would not go amiss in future! A good day out with very reasonably priced food available at the end. And the fact that the showers were cold by the time I got there didn't really matter, on such a hot day.....
