In short: Stunning route, great support, cracking event! In full: Third time I have run this race, has been sunny each time. First 7 miles are flat and fast although a narrow path along the Thames means racers are single file unless you go on the grass. Good support over Henley bridge and through town then you hit the hill between 7 and 9 miles. Once at the top it's downhill then flat and fast until the end with a lovely fast straight along the Fair Mile and a good crowd to see you over the line. I finished in 1hr 30mins which is my fastest time on this course but my chip didn't work so got a DNF, gutted. Apart from that the race, organisation, marshalls and support cannot be faulted. Will definitely be back. Date of review: October 15, 2012
