In short: Fantastic race,
In full: great place to run but very tough course the only reason i wont be doing it again is the old footballers knees don't like going downhill at speed. But the rest of me loved it.

In short: fantastic race loved it last year even better this year.
In full: great race a bit diffrent at the start this year down to the timing chip mats. Other than that everthing was like clockwork well done to all involved a good morning. Wesham call thierselves the freindly club and that they are.

In full: nice course but may become conjested through the country park on the narrow track if you were in a large group of runners.

In short: a bit of a none event I did'nt even know I had finished.
In full: The strong wind and sand blasting made this a really tough run. Most of the marshalls were friendly and encoraging so Thank you as without you this would of been a total none event for me. Wyre Borough Council say they are backing this event for the future, they need to do an awfull lot more if this is ever going to be a good event. Bottled water on a marathon course for me is a must you can not take on enough fluid from plastic cups unless you stop running which is not really what you are ment to do as far as i'm aware. The finish gantry was none existant just a few plastic cones, no time clock and no finish banner ( unless it had blown away). At the end of the cones we got possibly the cheapest medal ever to have been produced and a bottle of water and thats it no t-shirt no nothing. Also as far as i can see the race can not be found by U.K.A. for ranking purposes so what does that mean for G.F.A. times?.
