In short: Great Run!
In full: I probably like this so much as I got my first ever sub 2 hour but I genuinely think it is a great race. My only criticism would be the start was a bit manic. Very narrow and lots of different paces mixed together. Thought it would be much duller but didn't find it boring at all. Will be back next year.

In short: 1.5km Short!!
In full: This run has potential. However how many will give it a second chance after running 1.5km short i'm not short.
No PA at the start meant we didn't even hear the gun/hooter.
Where was the 'Sports Village' in City Park.
Fortunately I only paid £8.50 and live pretty local otherwise I certainly wouldn't be happy.
Also why can't the chips be posted with the numbers?
Needs to up the anti if this is going to survive.
Barriers up through the Uni would have been nice too, fortunatley not a massive issue with this amount of runners though.

In short: Quick but busy
In full: This is the second time i have done this event and do enjoy it. It's not as flat as you may think but definate promise for neagtive splits. Road was slippy at points due to road works but not much the organisers can do about that. No room for any more capacity in my opinion. Start and finish areas are very busy. Much better value than Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k though.
Scarborough 10k followed by this is a great way to finish my year.
Will be back next year

In short: 3 Mins off the PB and my first sub 1 hour, how can i not like it.
In full: The sun always seems to come out for this race.
Seemed much slicker now the Spa is fully open, just a bit busy at the end trying to get a drink and t shirts but better than last year. Will definately be there next year.

In short: Good flat run - post run chaos
In full: The run itself was very good and pretty much as flat as you can be. It was just the waiting around at the end for the t shirt etc that seemed to atke ages and I was pretty cold by the time I had picked mine up. I too would prefer a bottle at 4km i simply cannot run and drink out of a cup.
Definate PB potential although I didn't get mine, that will teach me to train more.
Back next year hopefully.
Overall a great weekend in Sunny Scarborough.
Thanks to the organisers for helping me out - I left my chip and number at home but they had spares ready. Thanks
