In short: Great stewardship, great course, do it
In full: From start to finish the organisation and marshalling was second to none. The course itself offers a nice mixture of up/down/rural and urban.

Cakes at the end a dream come true.

A hearty well done to all involved.

In short: Tough hill, walking material, plenty of twists and turns, a lung burner
In full: I turned up expecting a much easier run, the terrain keeps you on your guard at all times so there is no cruising, the climbs are mostly steep but short, you need time to gather your breath at the top. Nice weather made the race quite warm for the year. I completed the 10K, fair play to those that did the extra 5K, a nice goody bag at the end and the feeling that you have earnt it.

In short: Hilly, Hard and Great Fun
In full: I had been waiting to do this since late 2009 and was delighted to finish. The organisation was exceptional from the parking to the marshalls, all went like clock work.

The description of the race did not hoodwink you, the hills really were tough.

Loved the bacon sarnies and cakes at the end, will def recommend this to anyone. Got a bit confused with the medal then it was pointed out to me that it wasn't actually a medal.

Big thanks to the organisers

In short: A load of snow just added to the charm of this boxind day event.
In full: My 1st time at this race, an unusual 4.5 mile distance which is ideal given the excesses of Christmas day.

A simple out and back course amongst pleasant scenery, the terrain was slippy given the snow, I would assume this to be a fast course in normal conditions, mind you didn't stop the winner from looking like he was running on the track.

A lovely medal presented by the vicar of St Leonards added to the community feel of the race.

Well marshalled and some hot tea and mince pies etc at the end always goes down well.

For a fiver entry you don't get much better value than this.

A well done to the marshalls as ever, braving the cold and giving up their valuable time is something that should ever go un rewarded.

Many thanks!

In short: Great Race, Great Weather, Great Goodie Bag and Medal
In full: A slightly delaied start which didn't bother me, this was the only noticible hiccup in an otherwise very well organised event.

Great marshalls, cheering and appluading at every turn, jelly babies, a great medal and goodie bag.

Weather was excellent and the course not too daunting.

Thank you very much

In short: Not much on the flat
In full: I set off for a P.B which I achieved but it was a slog. The marshalls were excellent, plenty of watering stations. I am more a medal man but the t shirt was nice. Would race again without doubt. The roads are nice and quiet so you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. Well done to the Lions.

In short: Plenty of runners, organisation could have been better
In full: The toliet fiasco will be well documented and I add to that. The mug should have been a medal and the drinks at the end were a bit dull.

In short: A Good challenge, plenty of ups and a few quick downs
In full: Marshalls were excellent, the course not to be taken lightly, a good test of your strength and some speed work.

Great medal as well.
