In short: Torture would be too harsh but not half virgins In full: Kept us waiting far too long in the starting pens - was frozen by the start. Was hoping to see the sights but got residential areas. This IS NOT a flat course as descrobed the booklet, there were a number of hills I was not expecting. Having said that the supporters were FANTASTIC, the people of Bath really know how to cheer you on. Oh and if you happen to be a slow finisher, don't expect there to be anything in the runners village when you do get there, as everyone is packed up and gone home. Date of review: March 8, 2010

In short: my first 10k, was encouraged by the leaders In full: I wouldn't call the profile flat, there were a couple of hills, particularly at the start line.
Whilst being lapped by the leaders they all spoke words of encouragement and as a beginner I wasn't intimidated at all by the regulars.
The parking arrangements could have been better as runner being dropped off had to wait for the stayers to park first.
Although the weather at this time of year is quite challenging (mainly the strong winds) the slight drizzle and quick showers were welcoming.
Was disappointed that the presentations were all over when I finished, missed it by five minutes. Date of review: November 24, 2009
