In short: Is it just me or am I missing the point here ?
In full: I thought this was meant to be a road race and not an off road race. I know nobody can control the weather and it has been harsh rain, nearly none stop, but why were we running down single lane mud tracks, not just once but 3-4 times. If I was a first time runner I would have definately been put off by today and the route and the mud bath of a start and finish. I came round off the track which is a great way to finish I must say, giving it my all, crossed the line with a PB, my hands were shaking trying to get the strap off my ankle. Surely there should help for those who need it rather just being watched. Some runners have nothing left when they finish the course, and want to see an arm around their shoulder, check if they are okay, I saw none of this. I'm local and want to see this race progress, but I came away a very unhappy camper today, it was nowhere near as good as last year and I can only hope fingers crossed it can be reviewed and improved.

In short: A little crowded this year but a great race, all shapes and sizes here, love it.
