In short: Nice scenery, course and marshalls. Let down by poor organisation.
In full: Very nice course that generally climbs for the first 5k, hence is generally downhill on the way back. No goody bag, nice medal, bottle of water, hot soup & a roll. What let it down was the organisation. Despite entering on line you have to queue up on the day with photo ID to collect your number, with the ID being checked by a single person - this is a local 10k not the London Marathon! There was confusion for the start as it was shown as being at 10am, but didn't take place until 1030, unfortunately a dozen or so runners were at the start for 10am as they had tagged onto the 'half' runners who were being led down - clear instructions would have been nice. Finally the distance on my GPS was 10.49k, normally on an accurate 10k course I'm just under 10k, maybe they should get it re-measured and drop the 500m long 50m steep climb at the start.

In short: Third time I've run this, though course is now slightly different. Lovely location, well organised, virtually traffic free on estate roads. Forgot about the challenging climbs but worth it for that run down towards the house and the nice medal.

In short: Cheap, a bit hilly, good marshalling, no goody bag, plastic medal.
In full: A bit confused at the start when a lady hardly anyone could hear appeared to be explaining every turn and road name of the route. Not sure exactly where the start line was but off we went. A bit challenging on the legs with the various ascents. Generally traffic free. Excellent marshalls. No goody bag. No water at the finish. What my 9-year-old daughter described as a toy medal. Overall a good race for a first attempt by the organisers. Would have been happy to pay a bit more, get some sponsors for a goody bag, give a discount foe affiliated runners.

In short: Flat course, short run, Great Run organisation ... lovely
In full: First time they've run this race and did it as my daughter was running the 1.5k. Having done the Great South a couple of times it was a joy to only have a few hundred cars on the common when it came time to go home. Out and back course along the seafront with a short loop inland. Ideal beginners race due to the distance and wide standard of runners. Usual good Great Run medal. Only downside was the locked toilets right by the car park on the way out, some of which had been open on arrival ... told by jobsworth "they're for the runners tomorrow" !

In short: Run on road with a couple of climbs, starts & finishes on the athletics track, loads of friendly marshalls, nice goody bag - first time I've received a towel!

In short: 12km run on sand and gravel tracks in the beautiful setting of Studland.
In full: The first 3k is along the beach and a gradual climb of about 100m. After that it is mainly dirt and gravel tracks until around 9k when you hit soft sand for 1k or so. Then it's onto the compacted wet sand at the seashore for the last 2k.

In short: Flat course with a couple of short climbs, good value considering you get a medal, T-Shirt, baggage storage and a seafront course. The water stations could be run a bit better but that's the only little niggle.

In short: Well organised, nice course, good value.
In full: Turned up a bit late but still managed to park easily. Couple of hills, but not too long or steep. Slight issues with cars as the roads are not traffic free. Very good race.

In short: Repetitive, congested finish, totally unsupervised baggage area, very pricey for a cheap medal and a green banana, won't be back.
