In short: Muddy! In full: My first Gutbuster and a fantastic race! About two thirds was off road and I haven't seen so much mud! It was incredibly tough going but the mince pies and mulled wine at the end dragged me over the line.
Would thoroughly recommend and will be there next year to burn off those Christmas pounds! Date of review: December 31, 2012

In short: Another fantastic Leith Hill half! In full: Just finished another fantastic Trionium half, so tough but a fantastic course (are those steps at the end getting steeper?) Marshals great and friendly, the memento and fried breakfast at the end always a bonus - slightly muddier this year and did see two people go in head first to a puddle! Would always recommend! In short: Like running through a swamp In full: I really enjoyed this race as the weather produced a great atmosphere especially when the hale came down after abt 8km. It was a real challenge and i was very pleased to get round in one piece. Good atmosphere out on the course with people encouraging each other and being generally courteous. My only gripe is the lack of markers, i only noticed them after 5km and 7km. But defo back next year with hopefully better weather Date of review: November 23, 2009
