In short: Old school race
In full: This is like the old fashioned race, where PB is not essential, but having a good time is certain., The course is very good compared to other races around here, and when you finish despite your time it makes you feel like you have achieved something. Well done to the organisers!

In short: A hilly off road challenge
In full: A interesting and hilly route. The new route does remove the best part though, the railway line stretch, detracting form the scenic value. The organisation was of a reasonable standard at times, although some marshals didn't know the way, although the race official at the end, who's the headteacher, was a rude and offensive when I asked when the presentation would be. Some marshals were friendly, but most were silent and made my feel like I was inconveniencing them and taking up their bank holiday. The cause was the school, although their funding had been cut I could see no reason why they needed the extra money and I did notice they actually lied on their race adverts, saying it had been running for 11 years. Its true to say ashdon has had a 10K for 15 years, but its misleading because the original races were run by a entirely different organisation. The headteacher and organiser made it feel like a money making enterprise, and not a race or running event.

In short: Great
In full: Very good race. Good course, great spot prizes (if you stayed for the presentation you were assured a prize) and very very friendly atmosphere with the organiser calling out your name as you finish.

In short: Nice scenery
In full: Nice village but the prizes were quite school biased and made it seem a bit private. This hills are very fun though and makes people look at the area in a different light.
