In short: Great race, very well organised. Good atmosphere at finish.
In full: Great mix of club runners and non club runners. Good atmosphere all the way around. Seamless organisation. A permanent fixture on the race calendar.

In short: Just very average
In full: Decent organisation at start and finish. Tough hill start to the race that went on and on. Amazing that some got pbs on this course. Goody bag dull as dishwater, medal and a gel. T shirt non technical. Would be ideal for those runners who like a half with a couple of decent challenging hills.

In short: A great way to spend a sunday morning
In full: Middlesbrough shows it can organise a decent race and this is a 10K worth doing. Only gripe is that the wheelchair race started only minutes before everyone else so some of the wheelchair athletes were caught in the first couple of miles on the slight incline and then they struggled to pass the runners when the downhill sections started. It mst have been dispiriting for them.

In short: Well worth the trip to the Midlands.
In full: A good day out and a good atmosphere between the runners and the marshalls. Well supported in the towns. Got to be some gripes as ever though, the queues for the loos were ridiculous. The T-shirt was very poor indeed, non-technical and just looked cheap, the organisers missed out on a chance of good publicity here as it was the first kilomathon ever. I can't see many people wearing this top in training. Rest of the goody bag was impresive though.
