In short: Nice scenery, nice weather, shame about the puddles!
In full: This was my first event for over a year, and I was very impressed. Putting names on race numbers was a nice touch. The course was a little congested in places, but looking at the route, I didn't expect anything else. A lovely autumnal event to blow the cobwebs away.

In short: Third time ...worst weather, but still very good.
In full: We were due a bad weather race and we certainly got it! Can't blame the organiser for that though. Disappointed with walkers in the first two waves, especially as the race info asks them to start in the third wave. If 18000 people started, how come only 10200 finished? Only real improvement would be the baggage. All other major races manage to have a supervised bag drop area, although having somewhere warm and dry to huddle after the race was a real bonus. Thank you to the marshalls and crowds that braved the weather to cheer us on.

In short: Excellent ....but oh that wind!!
In full: Wasn't sure what to expect for this, but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to find, easy to park, no loo queues, and a reasonably easy run, except for the wind! I thought the 2km marker was a little misplaced, but overall a great morning.

In short: Lovely sunny day. Shortage of water. Impatient motorists.
In full: The weather was glorious, so very pleased that the trees provided shade. As we started as the back, the water had run out at the 2k stand, but fortunately got a bottle at the 5k point. The organisers and marshalls deserve congratulations, especially those that had to cope with the stroppy motorists. Thanks for a lovely Sunday morning!
