In short: Badly organised, queues for EVERYTHING!!! Useless for spectators...not good.
In full: Started badly with having to print your own bus tickets - why cant these be sent with the number? For friends and family its a non event - nobody can cheer you on, and the big screen had been taken down by the time I got back! The school was inadquate, my supporters queued for everything, toliets, food, toilets again - masses of frustrated people with not enough food stations. No where to hide either when it rained. When I finished the race it took forever to walk to the medal/T shirt area - huge hold ups - waited 30 minutes freezing cold to get a T shirt. Tiny, weeny exit couldnt get out as hundreds of people trying to get through the same space. Then another 15 minute walk to the reunion area - just what you need after 26.2 miles. Then trying to find the Reunion letters - set at about 5ft high, and in a beffudled confused and cold state you couldnt see where they were as they were blocked by hundreds of heads. Then to cap it off, another 20 minute up hill walk to the buses...great, and then we joined a 200 people long queue waiting for the bus. About an hour later we finally got going only to be dumped back at the start - miles from anywhere. Hopeless orgainisation, awful venue and no support all the way round. Not my best race by any means.

In short: Well organised race with a great t-shirt at the end.
In full: A hilly x-country race over varied terrain of tracks and some road. Thanks goes to the marshals and water station as it was a cold morning with some snow on the way round.

In short: An good trraining run
In full: A well organised race and the rolling start worked. The route was quite challenging but a good preperation for London Marathon. The cadets at the water stations were excellent and very encouraging.

In short: Well organised race with PB potential
In full: A well organised race with plenty of marshals on the course who were encouraging. It was perfect weather for running the nearly flat course except the hill at mile 9. A good t-shirt and goody bag at the finish.

In short: Excellent Fun
In full: My first adventure race it was a hard race but great fun. The only down side was the bottlenecks on the course that slowed you down. The T-Shirts were good it makes a change to get ladies sizes. I will be back next year to have another go !!
