In short: I had a super time.
In full: A bit tough at the beginning, but the last couple of miles were slightly downhill which more than compensated. The marshals were very friendly and encouragoing. Finishing on an Athletics Track was stunning.I would have done the Leek Half but it was cancelled so a big thanks to Bryan, who advertised the race on Racephotos. I'll be back next year.

In short: Terrific race, will do it again.
In full: Not sure why, but I really got into the race straight from the off. Whether it was the increased number of runners, the better weather than forecast, into the Olympics, but I ran a course best at the 4th time of trying. Thanks to all involved in the organisation, it was spot on. A big thanks also to Bryan as always for his super, free, souvenir photos that capture the moment.

In short: A great way to spend Sunday morning. Better that ironong.
In full: As a local and run the route regularly in training I had no problems in finding the place or picking the right shoes to wear. Above comments though are fair and hopefully the race organiser will take them on board. I know he is keen to make the race a success.
The icing on the cake as always for me is to relive the race through Bryan Dale's race photos, which I always download for free for my race dairy. Thank you Bryan.

In short: I cannot think of a nicer way to spend a Sunday morning..
In full: I have done this race several times and without doubt I will be back next year. Where else can you have ample car parking right across the road from the start? Registration area was well staffed and they were very efficient. Really helpful marshals. Only downside is that I keep getting lapped. He-he. This year I had done extra training and what happens a young male runner who must have the same genes as Mo Farah passed me as I almost achieved my goal. The upside as always is looking through Bryan's photos on www.racephotos.org.uk after the race and the ability to download for free several photos of yourself.

In short: Definitely a must do race. One of my favourites.
In full: I usually target fast PB courses, but this is a race I do just for 'me'. Everything about the race is spot on. I was so pleased to see from the Results that there was a big increase in numbers. Did the name change help? I tend to find out about some of the races I do from Bryan Dale's race photo website www.racephotos.org.uk. This time around it looks like I am going to get 5 race photos totally free. These are the icing on the cake for me. My son is so proud to show his mum on the Internet to his friends.
