In short: My favourite race of the year In full: With the organisation of a Swiss watch factory, the support that could only come from residents of God’s (or whichever fiction entity you believe in) own county and the beautiful coastal views, this is one of the best races of the year.
Make no mistake, it is a tough race, it’ll make your legs ache for days after, but it’s worth it. Every uphill step was forgotten about as I sat on the grass enjoying my Cornish salami pizza watching the last few runners cross the finishing line with huge smiles on their faces, vowing never to do it again, but after they’d caught their breath form the last long climb they were soon talking about stepping up a distance in 2016.
This race is addictive! Another fantastic Mudcrew event.
In short: Enjoyable race, nice change from road running In full: Well organised event with plenty of goodies at the finish, well marshalled. It was my second time and I will be back again. Date of review: January 26, 2011
