In short: Will do every year, amazing place to run
In full: Sometimes you discover a race that is so nice that makes you wonder if you want to tell all your friends for fear that it will change the way the race it is or you might not get in next time around, well this is one of those races not for a PB due to the very nature of Richmond Park but what it lacks on the possibility for PB e more than make up for the scenery

In short: Already booked my place for 2013
In full: I would say that for the medal alone the race is worth doing, having said that I would suggest that for 2013 the guys add the year on the medal though, it does make it nicer and special, the 17 laps is quite something, principally considering that the "gentle" incline towards the 11 laps start to few more like a mountain (lol). Excellent test to your will power, 1 minus that hopefully will be addressed next year is only 1 water station, having said that having the possibility to have your own table with your drinks kind of evens out, I intended to have mine set up next year. Beware that there is no cover on it and this year we where blessed with perfect weather but on a nice sunny day I guess a lot of people would struggle, in summary a nice race that can only grow, I hope they will organise a half there.....

In short: A race to remember
In full: Well I did not start well for me when I didn't received my number, but let me tell you the organisers done everything that they could to try to send me another one but didn't get the second one either, I thought was going to be a bit of nightmare to get myself a number and time-chip but to my surprise the organisers seemed very much in control, all went well and although the weather wasn't as nice as you would expect for mid May, the scene made up for it, I would say that Richmond Park Marathon tick all the boxes to become a real battle to get in on years to come. My personal opinion is, don't go there thinking about PB it won't happen - if you don't know Richmond Park is a hilly course - however on a nice a sunny day I think anyone would find his/her inner self whilst running there. If that has not made you decide to come, I got a vest, a cap and the medal was quite nice. I hope the organisers sent me an e-mail as soon as the entries are open, I'll be back :-)

In short: It could have been better
In full: You would have to be there to know , 26.3 miles ( apparently they add an extra to make it more fun ) of pure wet & windy. Having said that it is on the first year and if you like me can get on the London Marathon that is a decent race, just need to get a better weather, probably will go back next year if I cannot get into VLM

In short: Potential to be a very nice race
In full: Weather perfect, organisation good, got my PB..Yes improved on 3 min on my time from Reading in March but what was meant to be a reason to celebrated left me pretty bewildered as there was NOT A MEDAL....People, you got me so lost for words that I will give a pass on the Marathon that you guys are organising. I defo suggest for next year that you find a nice medal as after all it is an achievement to finish a half marathon that not many people can count to have done.

In short: For a first half marathon, I was well impressed
In full: If anything I wish it was done on the Norwich city itself, although the place was nice, to get there and out was a bit of a mare if you did not have a car, having said that I will make an effort to come back in 2010.
