In short: Would be a great race with timing pens In full: This is essentially a great race, scenic and varied route, great support, challenging but still pb potential, the start however is shambolic.
The lack of timing pens means that you have 2.30 finishers right at the front just because they turned up early. The starting pen is so narrow it stretches back for miles and just ends up a free for all with everyone climbing over barriers.
If they sort this out this race could become a classic! Date of review: April 9, 2011
