In short: quickish course, superbly organised In full: Fast course, no proper hills just lot's of little inclines, certainly possible to put in a quick time. Lot's of marshalls & a well organised baggage area Date of review: November 4, 2013
In short: What a farce! In full: Would have been quick & respectable if not a little dull if the race had actually been 5 miles! The entire field was sent the wrong route making it more like 4.5 miles. what a poor job, I certainly will never enter another race organised by Headington RR again Date of review: September 1, 2013
In short: Great Race! In full: Well organised race with lots of marshalls out on course & chip timing for the first time this year. Being able to check your time at the end on a lap top was a nice touch too. The downhill from 7-9k gives a great chance of a pb too! Date of review: August 13, 2013
In short: Those hills keep on coming In full: Friendly, well organised race & good value. You won't find many flat parts of the course, rolling i think is the best way to describe it. Nice goody bag too Date of review: July 4, 2013
In short: varied, scenic & challenging course In full: Truly a multi-terrain race with road, firm bridleways & slippy mud. Some tough hills as you make your through the very scenic course. Good value & a nice tech t-shirt at the end.
Only gripe would be the presentations took an age to get started Date of review: October 15, 2012
In short: Well organised race, with pb potential In full: There was a but of a queue upon arrival for timing chips, but this actually moved fairly quickly and was no problem, had no other problems with baggage or loos. Little bit of a walk to the school from the drop off point but hardly a cause for complaint. I thought the whole event was well organised.
The course itself was mildly challenging, a few inclines but nothing too tough, and of course a few quicker downhill sections to compensate, especially from 9 to 10 miles.
I took over a minute off my PB so it is possible to achieve some good times. Date of review: December 12, 2011
