In short: Pathetic bus organisation ruined what would have been a good race
In full: I can remember after the first run, Nottingham to Derby, people complained about the bus service afterwards, well the company has not learnt the lessons. Spoilt the whole day. I waited 1hr 10 min for a bus. Thank goodness the Red cross weent above and beyond their duty, if it wasn't for them you would have many cases of hyperthermia when people were waiting for the imaginary buses. STAY CLEAR OF THIS EVENT UNTIL THEY SORT THE BUS SITUATION OUT

In short: Hilly!
In full: Could have been better sign posted to get to the registration place. The race was well marshalled, a tough course, run through some lovely parts of the Island. Well worth doing, but like I said Hilly and did I say it was tough ??

In short: Very Cold and wet before hand. Well marshalled, good course. Good spacing for drinks stations
In full: A welcome cup of tea afterwards, but where is the doggie back? That would help turn a great race into a fantastic race.
I had a PB and look forward to better next year, put me down for it please!

In short: Well organised, the route included a 20m swim, left over from yesterdays storms. Good, enjoyable, I would do this again
