In short: Fantastic run in beautiful Coed and Brenin
In full: The course is a privilege to run. It goes through the beautiful mountains and forests of Coed and Brenon. It takes you through on the trails, mostly, with a few techinical sections through the trees. The organisation and running of the event is superb; the communication, timings, course, plentiful feed stations and masses of signage - all through the run I was 100% confident I was on course. I'll be back next year.

In short: A beautful and excellently organized event
In full: An incredibly well organised event by Bedford Harriers. The generally up first half and down second half gave me a very flattering negative split. The course was slightly long. Very enjoyable and I will be back next year.

In short: Great pre-marathon race
In full: A great pre-marathon race to test your pacing. Gently undulating (there are no proper hills), nice senic route. Great marshalls and plenty of water stations. Well organised by Beford Harrier - love the hoody

In short: The hardest 15 miles I've ever done
In full: The toughest 15 miles I've ever run. This is an enjoyable, challenging race full of hills and mud. Epping forest in incredibly beautiful to run through, and was excellently marshalled by Orion.
Running this gives me a lot of confidence ahead of my first marathon next month.

In short: Great fun in the mud
In full: Mud and water and falls. The real medieval mud is only for about 4-5km, but what a 4-5km! Clay mud sucking at you shoes, covering them with nice slippery clay, - great fun. Nice scenery to run through and the final 10k you can push for home.

Well organised by Benfleet (more loos please)
