In short: Overcrowded
In full: Around 2000 take part in this event and with narrower paths for a large part of the first 5k, those not at the front got caught up in groups of slower runners and walkers. The event could may have benefited from having organised the start in some way like other larger events to allow the front runners to get away and those wanting to run to be able to have a go. Also marshals could parhaps have instructed the slower participants to keep to one side to allow others through. So a disappointing run from that pointed of view as leave the event feeling that a better time could have been posted. However, it should be said that it was well marshalled and the spectators were fantastic. Great location for a 10k too.

In short: Great PB potential, shame about the organisation.
In full: 3rd year at Fradley and it is the course that does it for me. It's my PB event and so it means a lot to me to come back and have another go each year.

Same issue repeated from previous years with inadequate access to/from parking area, but the rest of the organisation was very poor and much worse than I have experienced before at this event.

The times were significantly out for many people, with some having no time recorded at all - one lady told her time was not recorded because she crossed the finish time alongside else and the system only records one time.

I was fortunate to be one of the last to receive a bottle of water at the end, but I didn't make it in time to the medals, tshirts and goody bags, so joined a very long queue to leave my name and go home empty handed - no, take that back, I did have the option of a black banana.
