In short: great from start to finish
In full: well organised and friendly race, the racecourse was a great start finish venue. lovely views from the start. plenty of drink stations with drinks in bottles(always good for a marathon!) great support at all drinks stations and around the course.superb views of the countryside. all in all a great race and would recommend it to all runners. goody bag was nice and the long sleeve tech top is very nice.

In short: well organised with great support, a few short but quite steep inclines not HILLS!
In full: this was my 2nd marathon and a great run. well organised and plenty of enthusiastic support when you needed it. great medal and nice goodie bag. theres a few steep bits but i wouldnt call it hilly althought they are slightly steeper than undulating. the heat and sun certainly made them feel harder than i would have normally found them. its a great race and deserving of its RW ranking. on the downside though, not enough toilets before the start. water in cups for a marathon is not great especially in the heat. personalised drinks though was excellent and well organised. maybe next year charge a little more and make the t shirt a technical one or reduce price and make t shirt a tech with the option to buy it. as a marathon T you wanna show it off as often as poss :)

In short: 2 laps with several hills!!
In full: well organised and friendly, not to many competitors which was nice. this was my first marathon so the smaller numbers suited me. the course is 2 laps with hills in the first few miles and again at about 14-18. i had been warned it was hilly and a good challenge. how true! if you fancy a challenge then its worth a go. nice touch with personal drinks drop off but water in cups wasn't the best, for a marathon bottles would be better. smaller numbers meant picking up numbers and timing chip on the day wasn't a problem.
