In short: Yorkshire people Fantastic In full: No communication at all, could not hear the tannoy at 1hr 45min marker. Squashed into timing places. However the people of Sheffield were outstanding...many carrying water from their homes and providing snacks...a real credit to the community. Volunteers and Marshalls many thanks for staying around. Organisation shocking Date of review: April 6, 2014
In short: Hot hot hot.....but great fun. In full: Thanks for listening to feedback and sorting the start of this run, much better organisation...The support by marshalls, volunteer (scouts), and spectators was brilliant. Particularly enjoyed the music at the turn and steel band....keeps you motivated. Thanks to all involved. For runners this race was busy at the start and a little cramped together but soon filtered out. Date of review: July 14, 2013
In short: Great organisation, family friendly, super run with testing hills In full: Enjoyed this race. Some testing steep short hills that tire the legs. Great marshalling and support particularly under the bridges. lots of drinks, gels on offer at halfway, toilets all available. To make this race perfect leaving the car parks could have marshalling as this would help greatly....Many thanks for a challenging run Date of review: June 10, 2013
In short: Excellent race In full: Excellent course and thought the organisers did great at short notice to provide an alternative route (9km). Thanks to all volunteers they did a great job. Course is flat, narrow at times but runners seem to adjust and are very friendly. The support did not seem as huge as normal don't know the reasons for this as this is a great Hull event....super little race well organised Date of review: May 19, 2013

In short: Not a race for a best time but crowds brilliant In full: 2012 - A good race for beginners, quite hilly and long parts on a camber. Excellent support but probably wont do again as too many people and at times the dodging between folk seemed endless....children on route superb giving jelly babies / yobs throwing powerade whilst hiding behind bushes disgraceful....keep reminding myself its a charity event and did not expect to better my time.....City games on saturday was must attend event fabulous.... In short: A hard race, but superbly organised and friendly In full: This race is a challenge...many steep hills and I think the so called flat roads go up slightly also in West yorks... Wet and slippy today so the downs tricky also....good fun though now i have recovered
A friendly atmosphere with cake and tea afterwards. A small race that is very well run.
To increase funds for the church having cakes and tea for supporters would be great for a small fee / and more road signs to warn cars that racers are there may help.
