In short: First Liverpool HM but it won't be my last In full: Thoroughly enjoyed it - yes there were toilet issues and the start being narrow, but if you look on the forum the organisers had already come to the same conclusion and it will be addressed next year.

In short: Runliverpool defy the weather and do it again In full: Superb race - lashed it down all morning, it was pothole puddles galore, not the mention the mud at the end - but it was still brilliant and all credit to the RunLiverpool team for still making it a great day! In short: Nothing dark and dull about this race In full: Always a great day, the tunnel really sets it apart from other 10k races, adding a a challenge for both new and experienced runners. Despite the incline, the race seems to bring out PBs in a lot of people, the 3.5k straight, flat and fast promenade from Seacombe to New Brighton allowing you to pick up the pace after tackling the tunnel.
Credit to Alan Rothwell and Run Liverpool for always managing to make the day run like clockwork and manage to arrange free train travel to get racers back to the starts. Highly recommended. Date of review: May 31, 2010
