In short: Wet and muddy!
In full: Another excellent race from the Avalanche team.
Every year they have added more obstacles to make it tougher and this year was no exception.
The horrendous rainfall we have had added to the fun with flooded parts of the woods made good use of. Keep it up guys.

In short: Fantastic challenge
In full: I ran the load bearing option of this race. Combined with fresh snow and mist this race was a real challenge. It was very well organised and the organisers were very approachable and friendly. Fellow competitors were friendly and all seemed to have a good sense of humour which is a must in these conditions. Previously my favourite race was the Sleepwalker run my Northridge adventure but this is on a level with it and I shall be doing it again.

In short: Fantastic course
In full: Another fantastic event from Quest.
The course was tougher then the Avalanche course run on the site earlier this year. Lots of water including a lake to cross/swim and the climbing nets were a nice addition. I think I'll be smelling of swamp for a while though.

In short: Excellent fun
In full: Well done to the organisers for going ahead in snowy conditions. The snow just added to the challenge of the race. There were more obstacles then last year to make it more challenging. I was dissapointed to see a high number of front runners skipping obstacles though. Overall I really enjojed it and will be back next year.

In short: Trail running at its best.
In full: One of the few proper night races, and one of the only night races you can run solo. Harsh weather and terrain make it a good challenge.
The organisation is superb. The route has just enough markers to let you know your on the right route but you still need to know where you should be going or you will miss them, which I feel is a good thing, its all part of the challenge.
I'll be back again next year.

In short: Well organised and marshaled
In full: This was my first road race, I do XC and fell running normaly. I wasn't particularly looking forward to it as I'd only entered it as a couple of mates were doing it. But I thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was great helped my the enthusiastic marshals and the local residents who clapped us on. the last couple of miles up through the shopping areas was briliant. I will definatly do it again next year.

In short: Fantastic, why arn't there more races like this.
In full: This is the first race I have done. Road running doesn't interest me, I like a bit of a challange, so when a mate sent me a link to this it ticked all the boxes.
The atmosphere was great throughout and the time flew by as your so focused on where your putting your feet through most off the race. The navigation is fairly easy as your on trails for most off the race. I will definatly be back for another go next year.
