In short: Great double event
In full: Very friendly event and raised a lot of money for charity. great goody bag, tech shirt and nice slate tea coaster set for doing the double. The trail section was hard on the ankles for me but felt a bit easier on the second day for some strange reason.
thanks for a great event :-)

In short: Best half Marathon to date
In full: Well the whole day was great. first time for me on this course and yes the hills at 6 to 8 miles made the legs ache a bit but the downhill before hand was great to make up on the time you was going to lose! knocked 5 mins off my pb.
Everything run like clock work and was so well organised, the marshalls were great, nice goody bag and liked the fact that you could try your shirt size on before you was given it. well done to all involved, look forward to doing it again next year and hope to get a sub 1.30 :-)

In short: Was an ok Race.
In full: Race was ok but mile markers a little out in places and the course was a tad more than 26.2!
Got moaned at a few times for wearing ear phones but only had 1 in and was low enough to here traffic coming ect.. would do it again but only because there is not many marathons about this time of the season.

In short: Well organised race!
In full: Great race and run like clockwork. nice course with very mixed terrain, Road, grass, single track and shingle. thought the out and back might have been a problem as it was a bit tight in places but proved me wrong , although in some places on the single track it was easy to get stuck behind slower runners and hold you up a bit but could live with that :-). nice touch with the free grub at the finish and mince pie! would defo do it again.

In short: Tough Duathlon but worth the effort
In full: Had a great day, run like clockwork. Chalk pit hill was a killer within the first mile, just dragged on! I did suffer on the bike run, I was demanding but just not my day in the saddle. Very welcoming and well organised. would recommend.

In short: Race was ok, but start to crowded
In full: First time at this event, entered online so just had to turn up and run, was surprised to see the start so crowded even 25mins before the race, had to squeeze through to get near the front for a chance of a good time. once off though the race was fine and did set my pb. not to sure how they could make the start so less crowded.
