In full: great family atmosphere,a good day out for all ages with potential for a fast time, however a poor website, lack of information,a failure to send out the race pack took the shine off the day.the run itself is bland and dull, crossing the barrage is the highlight if you dont mind wind

In full: an enjoyable romp around the country lanes, nice scenery, varied course, lots of ups and downs but nothing too drastic.disappointing goody bag,who needs another t shirt and plastic drinks bottle?good race though if you could stand the freezing weather!

In full: great course, great organisation, suggestion for next year-do something about the gale force wind!I was well on course for a pb at 6 miles but that slowly disappeared as we ran through what seemed a hurricane!top event though

In full: Super race as usual,no problem with reversing the course although I made the mile markers slightly long for 7 miles followed by very short for the eighth coming out pretty right in the end.Very lucky with the weather ,near perfect conditions with many pbs I expect.A very popular race for mostly quality runners-roll on next year

In full: full marks to the organisers for getting the event on despite the weather,a good race for beginners but a pretty boring run for regulars.well organised event but one large problem, the course measured very long by my watch,43 seconds between 6.22 miles and my official time crossing the line,a discrepancy of some tenth of a mile!for this reason I probably would not do this event again

In full: You havent lived unless youve run through our beautiful bute park on a glorious november morning, unmissable. The event itself was ideal foe beginners, slightly less so for experienced runners,so many slow and overweight joggers and walkers causing confusion especially on the section where we had to run out and back on a narrow path.Running the 5k at the same time with just a 10 min start was a mistake,it should have been run 30 mins before to enable the 5kers to finish.Very expensive race for just a medal and a bottle of water unless you reverted to childhood and wolfed down the hideous sweets they offered. Results on the website currently confusing ,may be improved soon.Luckily the weather and the surroundings made it all worthwhile

In full: a brilliant way to run off the turkey and xmas pudding.yes the 4.75 miles is a very rough estimate, ignore that and just enjoy the fresh air warm down on the beach afterwards, unbelievable value for a fiver--porthcawl lions double it to 10 and it will still be a bargain

In full: a well organised race, not as flat as they claim but not too frightening for beginners.not sure about the medal-different but not to everyones taste and just a bottle of water to finish-a banana or energy bar is a must for me after 13 miles.overall though I can recomend the race to anyone for next year.one slight complaint, why start the race at the bottom of the hill and finish at the top?why not start and finish halfway up which would knock est 20 secs off my time
