In short: Good Race and a nice tan too! In full: Really enjoyed this race and even though it was warm there was enough support to make it fly...not sure if it was becuase i was a late entry but missed chip timing...it took serveral minutes to cross the start for me so sure my time (all tho a PB on my own timer) will come in as one of my worst...however this didnt spoil it if at all - brilliant town, great first time race too. Marshalls were brilliant and well done to the army guy and the juggler as well as the man with the macmillan trolly - you spurred me on! Date of review: August 8, 2010

In short: Heat was overwhelming In full: this was my second ever half marathon and the heat unfortunately got the better of me....very very warm in places with it peaking at 32 degrees on the bridge...struggled between water point one and two and really should have been closer together because of how warm it was.
However fantastic atmosphere and very well signed, rshalled and organised...would do again but would pray and hope for rain - or at least a little cloud next time Date of review: June 27, 2010
