In short: A stunningly beautiful but hard Ultra. In full: My first endurance life event and to be honest I was quite impressed with the organisational element. The setting for the event was good with decent amenities to hand, the staff where very helpful and friendly. The Ultra course was truly beautiful with amazing views along the Jurrasic coast, this took your mind off the brutality of the hills (6289ft of ascent in total along the 34 mile course. Fortunetly I was self supported along the route as Endurance Life do not provide very much at their check points, water and a few nutritional items: I am sure they will be heavily criticised for this as this will have caught a few people out. All in all a cracking day out, expensive but worth it in my opinion. Date of review: December 4, 2011

In short: A great introduction to the world of the Ultra run. In full: Being my first ultra I was apprehensive to say the least, however I need'nt have been. The organisation of this event was first class, coaches from Nottingham centre to the start, maps provided, a great route with some challenging undulations, friendly marshalls with nice goodies at check points. The finish was great with lots of support to encourage you up the hill to the finish. The medal provided is a great momento as is the Ultra race top included in the entry fee. Overall I think the Ultra race team did a great job and I will definetely be back next year. Date of review: October 10, 2011

In short: Great race in a beautiful forest setting! In full: I got to the line with just minutes to go so missed out on the toilet issues that others seem to have had. The car parking seemed to be well organised with ample parking not too far from the start. The course and marshalling along it where second to non, gorgeous scenery (being the New Forest)very supportive and encouraging marshalls. I had a great day overall and would highly recommend this race. Date of review: September 25, 2011
